- Tip - If coming from Queen Anne by foot, or bicycle, take the Thomas Street Pedestrian and Bicycle Overpass.
- Nearby Attractions - The granite blocks (photo) are an art installation/sculpture by Michael Heizer entitled 'Adjacent, Against, Upon' (1976). From the blocks, ordering the south end of the park is the Olympic Sculpture Park (5-minute walk) with its 9-acre free-admission outdoor sculpture museum and beach, and the Seattle Central Waterfront (27-minute walk) . Bordering the north end is Centennial Park (18-minute walk).
