- History - In 1856 the Duwamish tribe was relocated to a reservation here, which at the time was known as Holderness Point. From 1907 to 1913 an amusement park named Luna Park occupied the site. The park is also sometimes called "Anchor Park" due to a 5,000-pound anchor at the the site.
